Our Carrot cake Recipe

Description

This is our popular Carrot Cake That is a great addition to afternoon tea at home which is bound to impress your visitors!

Ingredients

175 g
Muscovado Sugar
175 ml
Sunflower Oil
3  
Eggs (Large)
3  
Carrots (Medium)
100 g
Raisins
   
Orange
1 T
Bicarbonate of Soda
1 t
Ground Cinnamon
1⁄2 t
Ground Nutmeg
175 g
Self Raising Flour

Instructions

  1. Beat Oil & Eggs together.
  2. Add all dry ingredients & Carrots into a bowl @ 175*C for 30 - 40 minutes
  3. Bake @ 175*C for 30 - 40 minutes

 

For The Cream Cheese Frosting:

  • 4oz Butter Softened
  • 4oz Cream Cheese
  • 1 lb Icing Sugar
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract

 

  1. Beat together butter & cream cheese with electric whisk on 10W speed
  2. Add Icing Sugar gradually until smooth & creamy.
  3. Beat in Vanilla
